01/13/2007: The following information was agreed upon at the South East Super Mini-Cup meeting on January 13, 2007. Click Here to see the complete summary of the meeting.

  • Regional Membership: The South East Super Mini-Cups will require that each participant be a member of MMRA, The South East Super Mini-Cups, or AMCS. If you are a member of MMRA, or AMCS you will not be charged for a membership to the South East Super Mini-Cups. For those that are not MMRA, or AMCS members you will need to join the local region.

  • National Affiliation: MMRA is the Official Sanctioning body of the South East Super Mini-Cups. * Rulebook: At the meeting the membership voted to run by the MMRA Rule Book in 2007. MMRA members will receive a printed version of the 2007 MMRA Rule Book in their membership packet. Click Here to download the 2007 MMRA Rule Book.

  • Sealed Engines: MMRA's Rule Book allows an engine to be sealed by Extreme Engine Systems, Inc. Once sealed, this engine is considered legal, avoiding the bottom of the engine being pulled down. The Cylinder Head, & Carburetor is still available for post race tech. The purpose is to simplify post race inspection & to save the car owner the expense of frequent engine tear down. The protest fee on a sealed engine is now $500. MMRA, nor the South East Super Mini-Cups are requiring the sealed engines.

  • Rain Outs: In the event of a race being rained out the region has elected to issue 1st Place points (50 Points) to all of those that made the effort of coming to the race track. These points will only be issued if the track has collected the entry fees & issued the wrist band for that days event. No points will be issued if the track cancels the race before the entry fees are collected. To be clear, this is a South East Super Mini-Cup policy for our Regional Championship. No MMRA Regional points will be awarded for a rain out.
